| ⚜ CLERIC PRAYERS TEMPORAL ◆ Warrior’s Fortitude The cleric gains +1 HP per level permanently (applied retroactively when this Prayer is acquired). Additionally clerics of Thor gain a free Courage general skill. These are the canonical foundational gifts of Thor’s priesthood. ◆ Thunder’s Cure When the cleric casts Cure Light Wounds immediately after winning a melee attack in the same round, the healing amount is increased by 1d4. Thor rewards those who fight while they heal. CELESTIAL ◆ Storm Anointing When the cleric casts Bless during a storm or rain, the bonus increases to +2 to attack rolls. Additionally, all blessed creatures gain immunity to fear of weather-related environmental hazards for the spell’s duration. ◆ Mjolnir’s Echo When the cleric casts Striking, the spell additionally causes the weapon to deal +1d4 thunder damage on each hit for the spell’s duration. Creatures struck must save vs. Spells or be deafened for 1 round. EMPYREAL ◆ Berserker’s Gift The cleric may cast Haste on a single warrior, but the enhanced version includes -2 AC (the warrior rages beyond defence). At the end of the Haste duration the warrior is not fatigued — Thor’s gift does not weaken after the storm. ◆ Code of the Hammer When the cleric casts Geas on a creature to enforce Thor’s warrior code (no surrender, no betrayal), the Geas cannot be dispelled by any means short of an Immortal-level power. The code must be spoken in plain terms. ETERNAL ◆ Stormcaller’s Rite The cleric may cast Control Weather at half normal casting time (1 turn instead of 2 turns). When used to call a storm, lightning strikes from the called storm deal +2 damage per die. Calm weather cannot be called using this Prayer — only storms. HIERARCH ◆ Death and Glory Once per week, when an ally dies within 30 ft of the cleric, the cleric may immediately cast Raise Dead as a free action — no casting time, no material components. The raised ally returns at full HP. Thor demands his champions not fall in inglorious death. | ⚔ FIGHTER PRAYERS (9th level+) TEMPORAL ◆ Warrior’s Code The fighter is bound by Thor’s honour code (no surrender to a fair fight, no betrayal of lord or clan) and in exchange gains immunity to magical Fear while in melee combat. If the code is broken all Prayer abilities are suspended until atonement is made at a temple of Thor. CELESTIAL ◆ Berserker’s Clarity Once per day for 3 rounds, the fighter gains +2 to attack rolls and +3 to damage rolls. During this time the fighter is immune to Fear and Charm effects. After 3 rounds the fighter is not penalised — Thor’s rage is clean and total, not exhausting. EMPYREAL ◆ Iron Skull The fighter gains a +4 bonus to saving throws vs. stunning, knockback, and any effect that would interrupt their action in the Melee phase. Additionally, the fighter can fight normally while at negative HP up to -3 before collapsing. ETERNAL ◆ Champion of the Storm The fighter’s melee attacks cause thunder-clap effects. On any natural 18+ attack roll, the target must save vs. Death Magic or be stunned for 1 round (loses their next action). This is an inherent divine power, not a spell — it cannot be dispelled. HIERARCH ◆ Death Before Dishonour When the fighter is reduced to 0 HP in combat, they do not fall immediately. They continue fighting for a number of rounds equal to their Constitution modifier (minimum 1 round) before losing consciousness. During these rounds they function normally. This can only trigger once per combat. |
