◆ Wisdom of the Grove +1 to Wisdom permanently (applied when this Prayer is acquired). This is Ilsundal’s most basic gift — his clerics grow wiser in his service, not merely more powerful.
◆ Woodland Alertness The cleric gains the Danger Sense and Survival (woods) general skills as free bonus skills. These represent Ilsundal’s ancient knowledge of the forest flowing into his servant.
CELESTIAL
◆ Nature Lore +2 to the Nature Lore and Elven Myths & Legends general skills (stackable with other bonuses). Additionally, when the cleric casts Speak with Plants, they may ask the plants two questions per casting instead of one.
◆ Treekeeper’s Rite Elven clerics of Ilsundal may join the caste of the Treekeepers. Non-elves cannot access this ability. Treekeepers can cast Plant Door and Halav Halt Red Curse as additional bonus spells on their clerical list, and are recognized by forest creatures as protectors — natural animals will not attack unless magically compelled.
EMPYREAL
◆ Whisper of the Living Wood When outdoors, the cleric may send a message of up to 50 words through a forest’s trees to any known person within 1 mile. Delivery takes 1d6 hours. When the cleric casts Speak with Plants, the information the plants offer is more detailed and historically deeper — trees remember decades.
ETERNAL
◆ Tree of Life’s Blessing When the cleric casts Cure Serious Wounds or Cure Critical Wounds on an elf, all elves within 30 ft also receive 2d6 healing as the Tree of Life’s vitality radiates outward. Non-elves within range receive 1d4 healing.
HIERARCH
◆ Wisdom Without End Once per month, the cleric may enter a state of perfect communion with Ilsundal’s accumulated wisdom for one hour. During this time the DM must answer any one question the cleric asks about lore, history, magic, or the nature of an item or creature — as if Ilsundal himself were answering. The cleric cannot adventure during this hour.

★  PALADIN / AVENGER
◆ Treekeeper Paladin Path  [Paladin · Elves only] +1 to Wisdom; +2 to Survival (woods) and Alertness skills. Paladins of Ilsundal add Ceremony (1st), Halt Red Curse (3rd), and Plant Door (4th) to their spell list as bonus spells. They are recognized as sacred guardians by all forest creatures.

TEMPORAL
◆ Elven Valor The fighter (or a fighter sworn to protect elves) gains +1 to attack rolls and +1 to AC when fighting to defend an elven settlement, forest, or companion. Ilsundal values those who protect his people.
CELESTIAL
◆ Treekeeper’s Vigil In forest or woodland terrain the fighter gains +4 to AC against missile attacks (the trees fight for them) and cannot be surprised. The fighter may communicate with normal forest animals in a simple way — enough to ask whether enemies are approaching. EMPYREAL
◆ Scholar-Warrior The fighter may identify magical items as if casting Identify once per day (no components required, but they must hold the item for 1 turn). Ilsundal values knowledge — his champions understand what they carry.
ETERNAL
◆ Grove Guardian Within a forest the fighter has designated as their ward (a formal naming ceremony), the fighter regenerates 1 HP per turn and cannot be magically tracked or scried. Enemies entering the forest must succeed at a saving throw vs. Spells to act normally on their first round.
HIERARCH
◆ Ancient Protector Elven fighters only. The fighter can no longer die of old age and gains immunity to magical aging effects. Their AC improves by 1 permanently. Ilsundal’s mightiest mortal champions are granted a fraction of immortal endurance.
