| ⚜ CLERIC PRAYERS TEMPORAL ◆ Artisan’s Eye The cleric can identify the quality, materials, cultural origin, approximate age, and any significant history of any crafted item they examine for 1 round. No roll required. This is the most fundamental gift Kagyar offers — understanding the made world. CELESTIAL ◆ Master’s Touch Once per day the cleric spends 10 minutes in prayer to consecrate one weapon or piece of armour. For 24 hours the item gains +1 to attack or AC (as appropriate). Only one item may be consecrated at a time, and the cleric must have personally repaired or examined the item in the past month. ◆ Smith’s Lore +2 to any metalworking or construction-related general skill (Smithing, Armouring, Stonecutting, Engineering, Architecture). Stacks with other bonuses. Kagyar’s clerics understand how things are built and therefore how they can be broken. EMPYREAL ◆ Kagyar’s Resistance The cleric (or any dwarf they touch for 1 round) gains a +4 bonus to saving throws vs. all spells and magical effects for 1 turn. This represents Kagyar’s ancient gift to the dwarven race — resistance to magic — shared temporarily with those he favors. ETERNAL ◆ Reforge The cleric can fully restore any broken or damaged metal item (weapon, armour, tool) in 10 minutes of focused prayer. No materials required. Additionally they can identify all magical properties of a metal item they hold for 1 round — more completely than the Identify spell. HIERARCH ◆ Masterwork Miracle Once per month the cleric may permanently enhance one weapon or piece of armour. The item gains a permanent +1 bonus (stacking with existing enchantments up to +3 maximum through this prayer). The item is also considered consecrated to Kagyar — it cannot be destroyed by any mundane means. | ⚔ FIGHTER PRAYERS (9th level+) TEMPORAL ◆ Dwarven Endurance Once per day when the fighter would be reduced to 0 HP they may halve the incoming damage. If this keeps them above 0 they remain standing. If they still fall they begin at 0 HP rather than a lower total. Kagyar’s champions are built to last. CELESTIAL ◆ Smith’s Precision Once per day, declare before an attack roll: if the attack hits, it is treated as a critical (double damage dice). The weapon must be a crafted metal weapon. Improvised, wooden, or natural weapons do not qualify for Kagyar’s precision. EMPYREAL ◆ Fortress Stance When the fighter has not moved during a round they gain +3 to AC and +4 to saving throws vs. spells for that round. A fighter who plants their feet is as immovable as Kagyar’s anvil — and as hard to damage. ETERNAL ◆ Weapon Master The fighter may use any weapon as if it were their highest Weapon Mastery rank, regardless of the weapon’s actual mastery. The craftsmanship of all weapons is legible to Kagyar’s champion — they instinctively know how any made weapon best operates. HIERARCH ◆ Unbreakable The fighter’s body is as durable as Kagyar’s finest forging. They gain +4 to Constitution (max 18 if this would exceed it) and immunity to aging effects. Their equipment never breaks from mundane use and requires no maintenance. Kagyar’s greatest warriors are his masterworks. |
